Oh man, this is some catchy goodness.

The man behind Smile Smile and the man behind Bowling for Soup have combine their musical superpowers to form People on Vacation. They only have one song posted on their sites called "Better Off Dead" and it's great. It's like they took Jaret Reddick's pop music sensibility everyone loves about Bowling for Soup and mixed it with Ryan Hamilton's emotion-filled lyrics that attract the Smile Smile fans (minus the ex-fiance drama) to create People on Vacation's adorable sound.

They're coming to Austin next year on Jan. 27 at The Parish.
